Snapped car/van key in Kent?
Here is a quick write up on how we fix car keys that have been broken in a door lock or ignition barrel.
This was for a Vauxhall combi van, that unfortunately the customer had snapped his key in the rear door lock when trying to unlock his van.
When I arrived this is what I was faced with!
Using specialist key extractors, I managed to remove the broken bit from his van lock,then I decoded his key and cut a new blade.
Good as new, and one very happy customer as it was his only Key!
Don’t forget it’s always a good idea to get a spare key, as you never know when you might need it.
